One verse and chorus:

Would there were someone
To bring me cool water
Sweet Adam's ale,
From the ford near to hand.
Would come a priest
Who could pray me to Heaven
And tell me my Lady
Is safely away.Fly Lady fly
To Castle Caernarvon
Where the Welsh archers bide
And thy kin still be strong
Fly Lady fly
For the storm's close upon ye
Think well of the laddie
Whose life bought ye timeMy faithful war stallion
Stands o'er me protective
To ward off the ravens
And Sassenach thieves
No more to go hunting
Or charge into battle
The service he renders
The last that I needFly Lady fly
To Castle Caernarvon
Where the Welsh archers bide
And thy kin still be strong
Fly Lady fly
For the storm's close upon ye
Think well of the laddie
Whose blood bought ye time
Note: Eideard MacLenine wrote this song in the year 1990. It was
inspired by a water bearer named Adrienne de Montjoy, who kindly gave him
water on the field of battle after a long and taxing battle at War of the
Diamonds, Kingdom of Meridies, in that same year.
