• Biography

Florence is responsible for the unique harmonies and drumming in their music.  She's written a few original songs, and is always trying to either set poems  she finds to music, or write lyrics to traditional melodies she likes. She's  been a governess, tortilla-maker, proofreader, tax preparer, bookkeeper,  secretary, newsletter editor, and office temp before giving it all up for the  glamorous allure of public library cataloging, When not earning a living,  practicing, or trying to bake sense out of Scots dialect lyrics, she spends  time with her husband David, her toddler Stuart, and two cats Diva and  Sabrina.

Monalee handles the guitar, banjo and sings melody most of the time. Even  though she has been singing all of her life she mostly has only performed in  public through the SCA. Monalee put out a solo tape, The Dead Knight  Trilogy, before teaming up with Florence to form a Chorus of Two. In her  everyday life she is currently a "Domestic Goddess" (homemaker and  stay-at-home Mom) with a very understanding husband, Mark and a teenage  daughter, Elizabeth. Monalee spends the day with Mark and Elizabeth's dog, Gandalf.
