Cliff is a graduate of the Adam Ant "Dandy Highwayman" School of High Fashion. In 1990, when he was returning from a sojourn to the Arizona Renaissance Festival, Cliff's left hand was lost by baggage handlers at KCI Airport and he has been forced to wear a hook ever since. At least that is, until his death in 1994 (the clues of which were hidden all over the No Quarter CD). Since Cliff's untimely demise, Noi T. Cere, an alien replicant doppleganger from the planet ZangZang has taken the group's position of "Boogie Hook".
