In 2000, The Jolly Rogers decided to create an ambitious project: a 2-CD set. The first disc would be all new music for the band, the second would be a compilation of favorites that didn't make it onto our previous album, "Pirates' Gold." Unfortunately, for various reasons, the project never lived up up to the expectations of the band, so after a few years in print, we decided to let it fade away. But the fans kept asking for it to be re-released, so in 2006 we handed the original master tapes, recorded at WESTEND STUDIOS, to our good friend and engineer Don James to see what magic he could work with today's technology. Simply put, the results of his work are amazing.

LOOSE CANNONS was completely re-mixed and re-mastered and Don has made it sound the way we had always intended. We thank him so much for his work. MIDNIGHT BUFFET remains un-touched. Recorded live in-studio in one session, this CD has some rough spots, but also boasts the energy that you can only get from live performance.

This double album has over 2 hours of music; mainly traditional sea shanties and songs with a few contemporary and original songs. We hope you enjoy it!
