Man
in the Moon, 1994
Perhaps the most powerful display of Andy's unique range as a singer, his writing
talent, and his devotion to the Scottish nation. This album includes driving
songs of the Scottish consciousness like MacGregor's Gathering, heart-breaking
ballads and the witty musical tale of "The Errant Apprentice."
Gerry O'Beirne, talented Irish guitarist, plays on this album, too. It's his unique ukulele playing that emulates the birds in "The Echo Mocks the Corncrake."
